REQUIRED TOOLS

  • Drill mixer
  • Paint roller bucket
  • Roller grid
  • Roller

Planning: The optimum time for sealing is when the surface is walkable but the binder has not yet completely hardened. This is the case after 24 hours at the earliest and 72 hours at the latest at 20 °C. If sealing is carried out at a later stage, a test area must be created and checked to ensure that sufficient adhesion is achieved.

Preparation: Bring containers to processing temperature before use. Old substrates must be cleaned and, if necessary, mechanically prepared

Mixing: Shake the bottles well before use. Then pour components A and B into a clean, dry bucket and mix for 2-3 minutes until a uniform, streak-free mass is obtained. Mixing is carried out mechanically with a slow-running stirrer (200-400 rpm). To avoid mixing errors, transfer the mixture to a second clean bucket and stir briefly.

Important: The premixed coating must be left to rest for 10 minutes (a necessary pre-reaction takes place). Then add 10% clean, cold water (500 ml for a 5 kg container) and mix everything again for two minutes.

Application: Apply the coating thinly and evenly to the clean, dry surface using a lint-free facade roller (paint roller with long fibres). To achieve an even result, use a sufficiently large bucket and a scraper grid. Roll over the surface in a criss-cross pattern.

Caution: For stone material larger than 10 mm, a test area should be created to determine whether uniform application with the roller is possible. The processing time is a maximum of 90 minutes at 20 °C. Although the material remains liquid, it must not be used as the chemical reaction is already too far advanced. This is not visible to the naked eye. Only install between 10°C – 30°C | 50°F – 86°F degrees and provide a minimum of 72 hours of rain
protection.

Occupational Safety: When working with this product, we recommend wearing impermeable and durable protective gloves, tightly fitting safety goggles and protective work clothing.

Packaging: 5 kg container (4.4 kg component A and 0.6 kg component B)
Shelf life: 12 months in the original container. Seal opened containers tightly and use as soon as possible.

Storage: Store in a dry place and protect from frost. The ideal storage temperature is between 10 °C and 20 °C. Do not store above 35 °C.
