For the Toronto District School Board, the question was straightforward: how do you build a play-adjacent surface that looks clean, stays intact, and does not turn into an ongoing maintenance issue?
PRODUCT SELECTION
ROMEX PROFI-DEKO was selected for this project because the area needed to withstand continuous daily use. Traditional loose-fill materials like mulch, stone, or soil can shift, scatter, and rut under high foot traffic, especially when the same routes are repeated by dozens of children every recess.
